Don't forget to mark your calendar for:

Considerable opposition to this pipeline is growing

Come to a Public Forum about the high pressure, fracked gas pipeline and compressor station proposed to be located in Schodack.

Tuesday, May 5th, 2015 at 6:30 pm
Maple Hill High School, 1216 Maple Hill Road
Sponsored by: Stop NY Fracked Gas Pipeline

Things you can do at the Open House:
•Ask Kinder Morgan and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission your questions about this proposed pipeline.
* Sign up for FERC comments at this meeting since FERC will be there.
•Talk to other attendees about your concerns
•If you hear KM give information that you don't think is entirely accurate, politely give your viewpoint.
•Take down the names of people who would like to receive information from SNYFGP
•Ask attendees, “What do you think of this event“ or “What do you think of what Kinder Morgan has told you?”
•Give out information about our concerns and opposition to the NED
•Hand out letters people can sign and send to their political representatives
•Seek out politicians and media and let them know your concerns and opposition to NED
•Bring cameras and recorders and send pictures and recordings to SNYFGP (get permission from anyone involved first) so that we can add them to our website, Facebook and Twitter
Becky and Bob will be there at 5:00 to get everything ready; please get there early and stay late if you can.
We will have denial/rescission letters, letters to politicians, informational materials, lawn signs etc.
If you wish to be identified, we are recommending that people with Stop NY Fracked Gas Pipeline wear blue pants and white shirts with a button or necklace that we can give you. This way we can be identified for the media and people who want to hear the alternative point of view. The Kinder Morgan personnel all wear blue shirts and the union representatives from the unions that have signed contracts with KM come wearing orange shirts.
