the Schodack SCENE is a blog launched about happenings in the Town of Schodack and the Village of Castleton. Schodack and Castleton just don't seem to capture the attention of local media and residents are hungry for news about our town.
I’ve lived in Schodack with my family for 15 years. For ten of those years I worked for The Independent. The demise of that newspaper left me, and much of our community, with little or no information about what is going on in our neighborhoods. So, I decided to start a site dedicated to us, with news, photos, events and profiles of our neighbors.
