Public Meeting Notice
The Board of Trustees of the Castleton Public Library will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 7 p.m. on the second floor of Castleton Village Hall, 85 South Main Street, Castleton, New York. The meeting is open to the public. Residents of the Village of Castleton and the Town of Schodack are welcome and encouraged to attend.Questions may be directed to the library at 518.732.0879.

ReplyDeleteI was just looking at your blog yesterday and again today. Your detailed and objective coverage of the goings-on with the library are genuinely appreciated.
While we are getting a bit of a cut in funding, our financial picture looks relatively secure at this point in time. The open house we had along with the Friends of the Library brought a great turnout of local leaders. We also have an excellent pool of candidates to be considered for the director's position. Things are looking up!
Right now I'm working on the long range plan and finishing up our annual report. That should help close out our registration review with the state Education Department.
Nina Martino and I made a short presentation as part of the CES morning program on 11/6. It was well received by the students, faculty & parents.
