Dozens attended the event and enjoyed some light refreshments courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
On hand for the event were Legislator, Alex Shannon, Assemblyman, Steve McLaughlin and Rensselaer County Executive Kathy Jimino. Along with Mayor Joe Keegan, Deputy Mayor Marianne Carner, Library Trustees and Friends of the Castleton Library and patrons, Amy Peker was officially welcomed aboard.
