Payton McPhillips, age 18 of East Greenbush was arrested on drug related charges. McPhillips is a student at the Columbia High School in East Greenbush.
Member of the wrestling team when East Greenbush Police arrested him after a long term investigation into drug trafficking. McPhillips has been charged with six felony drug charges after police searched his home and found 8.9 ounces of marijuana, 3 grams of cocaine, 42 ecstasy pills, over $1,000, and various pieces of drug paraphernalia.
The investigators went on to say that this is not the end of the investigation, and that McPhillips suppliers and customers will be contacted very soon.
McPhillips was arraigned in East Greenbush Town Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $200,000.00 bond.
