EARTH DAY, Sunday, April 22, Main Street will be filled with Girl Scouts in "safety" green shirts as they pick up trash and maintain the planters. "Working by the road is hazardous, but with the donation of green safety shirts by Professional Services Industry, the girls will be easy to see as they give Castleton an Earth Day spruce up," said Kathy Misiaszek.
With the help of Becker's Farm, Scout Troupes 1370, 1238, and 1202 from Schodack maintain the planters on Main Street throughout the spring and summer months. Check the slide show in the left side bar.
