LOUDONVILLE — Several children from New York City walked off the bus at Christ Our Light Church on Monday to meet the families that will host them as they take their first venture into upstate New York.
Participants of the Fresh Air Fund were picked up by host families from Albany and Rensselaer counties where several children were experiencing life outside of New York City for the first time and others were making a return trip. The program is meant for low-income families who can’t afford to take vacations outside of the city.
