Boil water advisory in effect for East Greenbush

EAST GREENBUSH - A boil water advisory is in effect for East Greenbush, due to a water main break.

Water department officials say the break happened along a transmission line into the town.

While the break has been repaired, the boil water advisory is expected to remain in place as a precaution.

Right now, water officials expect to lift the advisory on Saturday morning around 9 a.m.
