A local softball coach, civil servant and father of three, Robert "Bob" Burns, 45, of East Greenbush, died in a Lewis County snowmobile crash on Wednesday.
"He was just a great guy," said Matt Hayes, a friend who co-managed the fastpitch softball organization East Coast Impact with Burns. "Every single day was about the girls and the family."
Once a year Burns, who lived for his family and teams, took a day for himself to snowmobile, Hayes said. "The one day he gives himself, a quarter of a day, is when the accident happened."http://thescene-thescene.blogspot.com/p/advertise.html
