Castleton Public Library, Board of Trustees Minutes of Annual Organizational Meeting

The Upper Hudson Library System (UHLS) has announced a boycott of all future electronic content purchases from HarperCollins publishers in response to the company’s policy change in the sale of e-book titles that would require library’s to re-purchase titles after 26 patron check-outs.

The Friends Annual Meeting is set for Wednesday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m.
The Saturday, March 19 Book Sale raised more than $200.
One board seat, that of Carol Dratch-Kovler, is up for election in June.
Library Director Peker is researching a new copy machine/fax/printer to be more cost and space efficient.
A new library logo is underway, and three preliminary possibilities were viewed by the board. All of the design work is being done gratis by a donor.
