2012-13 School Budget Approved; Thank You to Voters
The 2012-13 school budget was approved tonight by a vote of 655 to
331. A proposition to purchase a fuel-efficient minivan was approved by
a vote of 538 to 403. Michael Charsky, Michael Hiser and George Warner
were elected to three-year seats on the Board of Education. The district would like to thank everyone who came out to vote.

Voters Approve Ichabod Crane Budget for 2012-2013
On Tuesday, May 15, Ichabod Crane District residents approved the 2012-13 budget of $33,954,813. The budget carries a tax levy of 2.56%Voters also approved the following propositions:
- Purchase of 4 buses at the cost of $381,442
- Transfer title of the Martin H. Glynn building and property to the Village of Valatie and the Town of Kinderhook for $1
- Transfer of the property known at Glynn Square to the Village of Valatie for $800
