Worker electrocuted in East Greenbush construction accident



EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. - A construction worker has died from electrocution while working at Couse Corners on Route 4 in East Greenbush Friday morning.

Police in East Greenbush say 47-year-old Daniel Tobin, of Petersburg, was killed around 9:15 a.m. while working on Route 4 in East Greenbush, where a round-a-bout is being constructed. 

Police say Tobin was operating a powered light cart in order to put up a new lighting fixture, when he went up into a primary power line and was killed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tobin was an employee of Delsignor Construction.
