EPA is hosting a Public Information Meeting for the Dewey Loeffel Landfill Superfund Site

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public information meeting to update residents and other interested parties about activities at the Dewey Loeffel Landfill Superfund Site in the Village of Nassau, Rensselaer County, New York.

The Dewey Loeffel Landfill was added to the Superfund National Priorities List (NPL) of hazardous waste sites in 2011. Since that time, the EPA has conducted a series of initial site investigations to evaluate the extent of contamination at the site.

During the meeting, agency representatives will discuss the results of these investigations, next steps, and community involvement opportunities.
