Special Bus Procedures for Thursday, Jan. 8 Due to Extreme Cold

Superintendent Bob Horan would like to let our community know that due to the extreme cold temperatures expected for the morning of Thursday, Jan. 8,
 students will not have to wait at bus stops; drivers will take extra time to wait for students at the stops so they don’t have to wait out in the cold. He has also asked our maintenance staff to come in early to get buses warmed up for students. At this point, the district does not expect to have a delay as the temperature is not predicted to warm up much by mid-morning. We will continue to evaluate the situation throughout the evening and early morning. As always, the safety of our students is our number one priority.
