Public Forum on a Proposed Fracked Gas Pipeline

A Power Point presentation about a proposed high pressure fracked gas pipeline and compressor station to be primarily routed along existing power lines in the towns of Schodack, Nassau and Stephentown in Rensselaer County will be given by members of Stop NY Fracked Gas Pipeline.
A special guest will comment on pipeline and compressor videos at 12 pm and the Power Point presentation will be from 1-3 pm, including a “Q&A” session.
Since the powerlines and pipeline route are “co-located”, this creates a potentially dangerous mix for Nassau Sportsman Club members and its property. Possible new restrictions on weapons used, target & skeet shooting, archery, ATV’s snowmobiles and use of the Club’s lake for fishing, boating, swimming etc. will be discussed in detail.
The environmental impacts, health & safety concerns, economic loss and the rights of individuals and communities will be discussed. Public is invited, parking & event are free.
