Today the Schodack Central School District begins the process of bidding a fond farewell to its longtime staff member, Michael Bennett. Mr. Bennett was offered and has accepted the job of Superintendent of Schools for the Greenville Central School District. He will be officially appointed at the Greenville CSD Board of Education Meeting on January 3, 2022.
He has spent the last 14 years of his career working here in Schodack in a number of important roles, the most recent being Assistant Superintendent for School Administration.
The entire district congratulates Mr. Bennett on this well-deserved next step in his professional journey. He will be missed by all who have had the pleasure to know and work with him in Schodack. Greenville has chosen a talented and dedicated leader in Mr. Bennett. He has done many great things for the students and staff of Schodack during his tenure here, we know he will do the same for Greenville.
Mr. Bennett will begin his new role as Superintendent of GCSD on March 7, 2022, he will remain with Schodack in his current role as Assistant Superintendent until that time. We encourage you to reach out to Mr. Bennett to congratulate him on this achievement and to wish him well before he starts his new role in Greenville.
