Andy Griffith  (click to hear him sing the theme song)has passed away at 86. He is most well known for TV's Mayberry and Matlock, but he also starred in critically-acclaimed films like "A Face In the Crowd" (1958). We'll miss you, Andy!

(CNN) -- Actor Andy Griffith, who played folksy Sheriff Andy Taylor in the fictional town of Mayberry, died Tuesday at the age of 86, his family said.
