SNOW STORM TO IMPACT THE REGION THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT - TRACK AND INTENSITY REMAINS UNCERTAIN ENOUGH AT THIS TIME TO PRECLUDE A DETAILED ACCUMULATION FORECAST Low pressure is expected to develop in the Gulf of Mexico tonight and tomorrow then transfer to a new center off the mid Atlantic coast Wednesday night into Thursday morning. This will become a large and moisture rich Nor'easter capable of producing heavy snow accumulations. It, however, is not clear at this time as to the specific configuration, intensity, and track of the system which will be critical in determining how much snow will fall locally.
