Free Museum Pass
Hancock Shaker Village Museum Pass
The library has a museum pass to the Hancock Shaker Village! It is available for checkout at the circulation desk. The pass is loaned for three days and entitles bearer to free admission for two adults and two children (13-17); children 12 and under are always free.
(This pass was purchased for the library by the Friends of the Castleton Public Library) –Thank you!

Schodack BOE needs Members
How to Run for the School Board
Schodack Central School District encourages community members to run for the Board of Education.Interested residents must present petitions with signatures and addresses of at least 25 qualified voters of the school district to the District Office by Monday, April 18, 2011 by 5 p.m.
Petitions can be downloaded here or you can have one mailed to you by calling the District Office at 732-2297.

I just wanted to thank you and Sherri for the presentation this evening. (She will be missed.) The discussion did go on much longer than planned, but the opportunity to speak afforded the small group who gathered there, time to continue. It was frank and heartfelt.
