Schodack CSD provides Continuing Education opportunities to promote lifelong learning in the community. Continuing Education is self-supporting, with no bearing on the district's tax rate. It is only through the continuing support of the community that this program is possible.

Castleton Reservoir
Irene stopped by Castleton and dumped enough water to flood the pump-house. DPW workers spent the day closing roads and directing traffic, unplugging storm drops where water was coming up from the manholes. They spent hours clearing downed trees and assessing the damage. The Deputy Mayor and the Town Supervisor put into place a suggested evacuation of Main Street during high tide at about 6:30 p.m.
The boys worked most of the day to be sure that residents are safe and keep the Village roads are passable.
