February 26,2019 The passing of Paul Puccio
Paul was an extraordinary public servant who devoted his life to helping others. He was a member of the Schodack CSD Board of Education since 1981 and the Questar III Board of Education since 1999. As a board member, Paul helped to establish the policies that guide operations at Schodack and Questar III. He also advocated for expanded programming for students and collaboration among school districts.

Paul was a founding member of the Tech Valley High School Operating Board, serving as its first president from 2006 to 2018. As president, Paul and his colleagues helped Tech Valley High School grow into a nationally-recognized school.

An RPI freshman is credited with saving passengers on a runaway Amtrak train.

As NewsChannel 13 reported on Wednesday evening, two train cars separated shortly after departure from Rensselaer to New York City. Reuben Clarke was a passenger on that train.
