The company wants to buy the former IBT Hamilton Printing property on Route 9J in the town of Schodack. It would renovate an existing 100,000-square-foot building and build another 40,000-square-foot building. The property is on the market for $1.3 million.
The public is invited to a forum, hosted by the Friends of Schodack Island State Park, on the new campground at Schodack Island State Park. The forum will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday February 1, 2016 at the Schodack Landing Fire House on Fire House Lane in Schodack Landing. The campground is scheduled to open in April and will have 66 campsites. The presentation on the new campground will be preceded by the regular board meeting of the Friends of Schodack Island State Park at 6:00 PM.

Sheldon Silver's pension is official: $6,600 a month
ALBANY -- He was convicted and tossed from office, but former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver is still getting his pension: $6,602 a month. Silver's pension comes to $79,224 a year, according to the final calculation from the state Comptroller's Office.
Silver, D-Manhattan, the speaker from 1994 through January 2015, put in for his retirement on Dec. 1 -- just days after he was convicted on corruption charges in federal court.

Twelve-inch subs are available for purchase and include turkey, ham or Italian mix. Cost is $7.00 per sub and will be available for pick-up at the Ambulance Hall on Sunday, Feb. 7. All subs must be pre-ordered so they can be prepared for delivery or drive thru pick-up on February 7.

7. In the “Enter Docket Number:” box
a. Enter CP16-21 and click Search
b. When a listing for “Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (Northeast Energy Direct Project)” appears, click on the blue plus sign in the right column under Select
c. Click the Next button
8. At the Document-less Intervention Description screen

Metroland staffers put out a guerrilla final issue online on New Year's Eve, "The Last Stand," and went out on their own terms: a clenched fist of protest, a lump in the throat over fun times gone by and a middle finger raised at The Establishment.
