EAST CHATHAM—Gone are the days of scrambling for loose change between the car seats and the nanosecond of human contact while handing it over at a Thruway toll booth.

Thruway passes 2015 budget

Updated: Friday, December 19 2014, 08:11 PM EST ALBANY -- The New York State Thruway Authority Board unanimously passed its 2015 budget with a $36 million deficit. The board did not discuss potentially increasing tolls.
