The Castleton - Schodack Kiwanis Club will be selling chicken barbecue dinners on Sunday, March 24th, to raise monies for its community service programs. The cost of the dinners is $9.00, and the dinners may be picked up from 12:00 noon to 5:00 P.M. at the Castleton Volunteer Fire Company in Castleton. For more information, or to order the dinners, call 732-2225. Walk-ins are welcomed.

Local historian and Civil War lecturer JJ Jennings will share his knowledge about the Battle of Gettysburg on Wednesday, March 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School auditorium. This lecture is a free event and open to the public.

Music Parent Association Seeks Items for Indoor Garage Sale - The Maple Hill Music Parents Association is seeking donations for their Indoor Garage Sale to be held Saturday, March 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We need gently used items, but cannot accept personal care items, clothing, magazines, televisions, computers or stuffed animals.
