CES Community Garden Seeks Volunteers

CESAP garden beds

The CES Agricultural Project has expanded the gardens this year to include six more raised beds, five blueberry bushes and a mini pumpkin patch. Grades K-5 have two raised beds per grade level. In the fall, the students will enjoy the fruits of their labor with a tasty snack. Through this process, children will learn about plants, seeds and where their food comes from. CESAP now needs volunteers to water, do light weeding and harvest our bounty during the summer months. Any organization or individuals who can help should e-mail Kathleen Johnson. Posted 6/17/13.
