Rensselaer County unveils DWI prevention initiative
TROY — Rensselaer County has unveiled a new designated driver program to combat drunken driving this summer.
The latest initiative is "Provide a R.I.D.E. (Rensselaer County Invites Designated Drivers Everyday).
At
26 events across the county this summer, including five ValleyCats home
games, the county STOP-DWI program will have a booth where people can
find information and get help finding a ride home.
