The 36th Annual Freihofer's Run for Women
Welcome runners!
The 36th Annual Freihofer's Run for Women will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 9:45 a.m.
The Freihofer's Run for Women 5km combines some of the top International and American women distance runners and over 4,000 women from the Capital Region and across the nation. From Olympians to recreational runner, it's a wonderful blend of competition, participation and camaraderie.

East Greenbush Pop Warner is now offering Early Bird Registration.
We are currently offering registration for interested Tackle football players, Flag football players and Cheerleaders, who will be ages 7-15 on or before July 31st and registration for interested Flag players and Cub Cheerleaders ages 5-7 who will be ages 5-7 on or before July 31st.

Even while they re-elected Village Justice Paul Peter, Castleton voters decided to abolish the village court and the justice seat. By April 1, the functions will be taken over by the town of Schodack.

Updated: Wednesday, March 26 2014, 10:56 AM EDT UPDATE: Authorities say the reward offered and the public's information has led to the discovery of those involved. Joseph Losowski, 55, and Dave Garrity, 49, were both charged with illegal disposal of solid waste. Authorities say they could face a fine of $1,500 to $15,000 and up to 15 days in jail.

To help answer questions our community may have about the 2014-15 budget, the district will hold a Community Budget Forum on Wednesday, March 26 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the High School cafeteria. The Board of Education will also hold a budget workshop with community input on Tuesday, April 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the High School cafeteria. Free babysitting will be available for both meetings. Each meeting will offer opportunities to learn about the 2014-15 budget process and ask questions. Community members will also be able to ask questions about the proposition to address infrastructure needs as well as the Capital Project.
