Costco and Cabela's...wouldn't that be nice for Schodack?

Schodack has a similar situation with homeowners wanting tax benefits from commercial properties, but not wanting businesses too close! We are being taxed to death. Castleton's Main street is dying. There is a real need for businesses - lots of room on Route 9! Cabelas would attract customers from Pittsfield to Rensselaer, Hudson to Bennington!

Please join the Friends of the Castleton Public Library on Tuesday, May 5th from 5-8pm at Scarnato’s Restaurant in Castleton, NY for a Cinco de Mayo Fundraiser! There will be a buffet with desserts included (cash bar). Come learn about the Friends and enjoy some great company.  RSVP by May 2nd to 732-0879
