One of the most affluent school districts in Virginia is dissociating itself from Dr. Seuss, claiming the children's books contain "racial undertones" that are unsuitable for teaching children in a "culturally responsive" way.

Castleton-on-Hudson, NY – The Castleton Public Library will officially celebrate its recent renovation on April 25, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A ribbon cutting will be held at the Library at 12:00 p.m. with community leaders and library staff. Family entertainment, music, and refreshments will be featured, and "Then & Now" library renovation photographs will be on view.
