Body Found in Nassau

NASSAU
 Body found in Nassau
Klippert, who lived on Lenox Road in the village, has been missing since a September 22 accident on Columbia Turnpike in which a 19-year-old pedestrian was struck and suffered a broken leg. He was found in a tree in Nassau where he apparently hanged himself shortly after the accident. There was no question that Klipert hit the pedestrian because the victim's glasses were still caught under the car's windshield wipers.

Good Buy Books

altNote From Councilwoman O'Brien:

Don't throw all your holiday cards away. Instead, recycle them for a great cause. Good Buy Books at 330 Columbia Turnpike (477-2665) will take these cards and recycle them for St. Jude's fund. This is a facility for neglected or abused children. They reuse the cards and make money for the children. Along with the holiday cards, Good Buy Books will recycle old telephone books.

Good Buy™ Books has been in operation since 2005. Lynne and Vinny Catelotti own and operate the store, which currently houses a unique blend of new and used books.
