Hundreds of gallons of gasoline spills at Port of Rensselaer
ALBANY- Several hundred gallons of gasoline spilled at a terminal at the Port of Rensselaer Thursday evening. Firefighters tell us the spill happened while a tanker was being filled at the Buckeye terminal around 5:30 this evening. Things were quickly contained and most of the gasoline went into an underground tank. A HAZMAT team was called in as a precaution, but no buildings or homes in the area were ever in danger. We've been assured none of the gasoline spilled into the river. Advertise: |
